Our Lead designer and founder Danial Bienke is certified by the Master Craftsman's Guild of Europe and personally inspects every element of every piece of furniture we make. All our frames are made only from Australian-sourced from renewable, sustainable forest-farms. This also means zero formaldehyde is used in our frames (unlike many cheap imports).
At Chesterfield House, all of our pieces are made to order by hand. This means that you can not only choose your preferred colour and style of leather or fabric, but also the seating size or your piece, and select adjustments to the design. Not content with a mere sitting chair design for the Duke of Edinburgh, we created an office-chair version as well. After all, the Duke is a busy man, and had plenty of work to attend to. You really have to sit in one of these to full appreciate how it feels. A few lawyers who have invested in these chairs may have told us they win more cases and tend to charge more when sitting in these chairs in their office.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry and being a manufacturer ourselves, we've seen hundreds of different leathers from around the world and are experts in choosing which leathers are suitable for which sofa. That said, colour and texture are all in the eye and touch of the beholder and we will make your furniture in the leather of your choice.
