Services
Pest Control
Our comprehensive pest control services target common household and commercial pests including cockroaches, ants, spiders, rodents, and fleas. Using environmentally responsible products and Australian-standard compliant methods, we ensure complete eradication and prevention. Our technicians employ advanced techniques like Termatrac technology for accurate detection and treatment.
Termite Treatments
Specialising in termite inspections and treatments, we offer Trelona bait systems and Termidor barriers to protect properties from subterranean termites. Our services include pre-purchase inspections, moisture testing, and construction risk assessments to prevent future infestations while maintaining structural integrity.
Bird Control
Designed for commercial properties, our bird control solutions address infestations of pigeons, sparrows, and other invasive species. We implement deterrent systems and physical barriers to prevent nesting while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining workplace hygiene standards.
Pre-Purchase Inspections
We conduct thorough pest inspections for property buyers, identifying termite activity and other pest-related risks. Our detailed reports meet Australian Standards 3660.2, providing critical information for informed purchasing decisions and ongoing property maintenance planning.
Termite Baiting Systems
Our Trelona baiting systems use tamper-resistant stations to eliminate termite colonies before they reach properties. This non-invasive method combines regular monitoring with targeted baiting to disrupt termite activity and prevent structural damage effectively.

As part of our building and pest inspection prior to buying our first home in Cairns, Pestrid performed a pest inspection. They are very thorough, know their stuff and have very good attention to detail. They also offer management plans that vary in price which we liked. Highly recommend and we will use them for any future pest works on the property.

Pestrid Cairns do our quarterly Pest Inspection and Treatments at our commercial facility which we are contractually bound to have done on a quarterly cycle. They have now been doing this for a year and were cheaper, friendlier, more responsive, reporting systems are fantastic and we now actually know the status of our facility and the pest control - which is awesome. Would HIGHLY recommend. Thanks Pestrid Cairns.

I found the gentleman polite and informative. He worked in with my needs. Even though the house had a low infestation because of the type of pest my home needed a follow up treatment. Pest rid were flexible and helpful to achieve this.

Ray did an inspection and took it upon himself to pull up our carpet, without any mention or discussion. Then he stuck his head into the manhole but decided it was too hot up there so never inspected the ceiling space. What a waste of time. DON'T come to my house and start tearing it apart without talking to me first!!!
