In 1996, the Slator family located in Mt Compass 25kms south of Adelaide took over the operations of the South Australian section of The Fly Company otherwise know as Fly Co. 5 years later they had the option to buy the SA section of the business outright, and did so.

The following photos were taken in the suburb of Clarkson, Perth, WA. It shows a baby's swing with a spider's web on the back. The black house spider is sheltering in behind a lip in the swing. Once treated with our product, the vibrations on the web indicates there is activity and the spider investigates.

We recommend treatment once every 12 months, but in some instances you may need a top up treatment in high insect activity areas i.e. in food preparation businesses, sheep and cattle properties. The major factor to the longevity of our treatment is UV light. UV light increases the biodegrading process therefore the product will last longer internally.

Greedy Gecko has a simple pricing system for common household insect treatments (not a termite treatment). We charge depending on the amount of product used, with no hidden costs.
Although our general insect treatment is effective on all household insects, if you have any infestation including but not limited to ants, cockroaches, millipedes, bees, termites or you need rodent control or roof dusting, other methods and products will be required at an additional cost.Please see below or call our free call number to obtain an approximate cost estimate.

To truly understand the nature of our treatment, we go back to where it all began, Pyrethrins. These are natural insecticides that are produced from the Chrysanthemum plant family that are either dried or crushed with the oils making solvents. They have an active ingredient of approx. 30%. These solvents are Pyrethrins which in a domestic or commercial situation, only 0.3% of the overall treatment is used.
