Business Details
CertOne Building Certifiers specialises in helping residential property owners and construction professionals navigate the building certification requirements applying across Sydney and New South Wales. We provide a coordinated range of services covering preliminary compliance advice, development certification, construction inspections and completion documentation. Our team assesses eligible developments for Complying Development Certificates, reviews plans and supporting information for Construction Certificates, and undertakes critical stage inspections during construction. Following satisfactory completion of the necessary requirements, we can issue Occupation Certificates. Additional services include swimming pool barrier assessments, Pool Compliance Certificates and dedicated consultations on building compliance matters. We also examine unauthorised residential works and prepare BCA Compliance Reports explaining relevant code requirements and potential issues.
A key part of our work involves assisting homeowners who need to understand the regulatory position of existing renovations or additions. Our assessments consider the National Construction Code, including the Building Code of Australia, and may support Building Information Certificate applications where appropriate. We work constructively with builders, architects and consultants while maintaining our independent certification responsibilities. To improve inspection accuracy and reporting efficiency, we incorporate drones, thermal imaging cameras and advanced software into our processes. Our experienced team provides personalised guidance, transparent communication and practical information throughout each assignment. We also make free fee proposals available to clients seeking residential certification services.

Our reports provide supporting evidence for council enquiries and building information certificate applications.

Our services include CDC and CC approvals, BCA compliance assessments and mandatory building inspections. We specialise in Class 1 and 10 projects, providing technical guidance and practical certification advice. Our approach emphasises efficient approvals, reliable support and straightforward communication.

At CertOne Building Certifiers, we combine technical knowledge with practical advice to address residential building compliance matters. Our consultations cover alterations, existing buildings, unauthorised construction and proposed developments. We identify regulatory risks, clarify necessary documentation and recommend appropriate approval strategies. From initial project assessment through subsequent certification stages, we provide clear communication and reliable professional support.
Swimming Pool Compliance Certificates
We provide swimming pool compliance inspections and certification for residential pools and spas across Sydney. Our private certifiers assess fences, gates, latches, access points and CPR signage against NSW safety requirements. We identify non-compliant items and explain necessary rectification work.
