Our team's expertise in harness work and boom lifts ensures even hard-to-reach areas receive flawless finishes.
Interior Painting
We deliver meticulous interior painting with comprehensive preparation to protect your belongings. Our process includes furniture covering, surface taping, and dust containment. Clients receive free colour consultations with our in-house design team to ensure perfect shade selection for lasting satisfaction in residential spaces.
Weatherboard House Painting
Specialised weatherboard painting includes expert wood rot repair and replacement by our in-house carpentry division. The process involves thorough surface preparation, primer application, and premium coating systems to restore heritage homes while maintaining structural integrity across Melbourne's older residential properties.
Timber Staining
Our timber staining service enhances natural wood features with clear coatings that protect against Melbourne's climate. We work on interior trims, staircases, and exterior timber elements using premium products that balance aesthetic appeal with long-lasting protection against weathering and UV damage.
Pressure Washing
Professional pressure washing prepares surfaces for painting while removing mould, dirt, and old coatings. Our team uses calibrated equipment to clean rendered walls, concrete paths, and timber surfaces without causing damage, ensuring optimal paint adhesion for both residential and commercial properties.
Questions
Do I need to move out during interior painting?
No, we work in sections and prioritise living areas to minimise disruption. Low VOC paints reduce odours for comfortable living during the project.
How do you protect my home during exterior painting?
We use drop sheets, protective coverings, and careful equipment placement to safeguard gardens, vehicles, and property. Plants and delicate surfaces receive special attention.
What preparation is required before painting starts?
Clients should remove small items from surfaces. We handle furniture protection and wall preparation, including filling holes if requested during consultation.
Do you paint heritage-listed properties?
Yes, our team has extensive experience with period homes including Californian bungalows and federation-style houses, maintaining historical accuracy while ensuring modern durability.
Can you match existing paint colours?
Our colour consultants use advanced technology to accurately match existing colours or help select new palettes during free in-home consultations.
What areas of Melbourne do you service?
We cover homes within 25km of Melbourne CBD including suburbs like Kew, Thornbury, Watsonia, and Caroline Springs. Contact us for specific location confirmation.

We got our timber windows and exterior house painted in November. From the start to end everything went well. Mario was excellent in keeping us informed and the work was completed on time.
Hitesh our painter was awesome. He is extremely good at his work and very organised. Everything was packed neatly end of the day. Very impressive. Personally it has been a pleasure to deal with Hitesh. Highly recommend his work.
Georgia joined Hitesh for couple of days. Her painting work is excellent.
Rob carpenter was efficient and did a wonderful timber work.

We had the exterior of our house painted and carpentry work to create new canopies for windows and replace damaged weatherboards and other wood rot. Very happy with the work. Very professional and skilled team of people. Many thanks to Mario who looks after painting services for His prompt response to any queries and concerns. Thanks to Tony, who was there painting from start to finish and his assistants Amy, Emma and Jake for doing a great job. We were also grateful that we were allowed to change the colour scheme as soon as we saw the first coat and realised it was not right. Many thanks to

We had the MJ Harris team of Brooke, Chloe & Amy who were fabulous. They tidied up at the end of every day so we could continue to live at home while the job was in progress. Very happy with their work.

Thank you to the team at MJ Harris Group. They brought our 115 year old home back to her glory. Nothing was too difficult for them and they walked us through every part of the process and completed the job in the time they said it would. Looking forward to working with them in our future projects.
