Had some repointing work done on pillars at the front of our house. Savvy has changed hands and Saber honoured a quote done two years ago by Mario. Very prompt response, good work and left the site in a tidy condition.

Firstly, most reviews mention Mario, but when I called the same number it was Saber who answered. We had a poor experience. Saber seemed like a nice young man when he came for the quote to remove and replace a cracked and unsteady brick fence. Then he did not turn up for the job on the due date, making no attempt to contact us while we and our neighbour waited for him. We finally got him to come back on another day and this time he arrived with a more experienced looking man with a truck in another company name who said little. Came out and had a look at a job a month ago. Didn’t sound like he was capable of doing the job to be honest but said he would email a quote. Have messaged him a couple of times and still no quote.

We hired Savvy Bricklaying to rebuild two fence pylons. Mario was very friendly, helpful, listened to our concerns, gave us good advice, and was overall very professional. The price he quoted was very reasonable (an there were no add-on costs after the work commenced). He was punctual and let us know when he was delayed on another job and would be late. Mario and his team did a brilliant job creating a bricked patio in our garden. They consulted with us on the design and were very friendly and helpful. I'd absolutely recommend them.

Mario is amazing and extraordinarily affordable!! Even with a busy schedule, and bad weather, he came out and got the job done quickly, cleanly, and quietly. He is very friendly and professional. Getting anyone to come out for a quote was a hassle, Mario responded immediately about availability and was honest about expectations on cost, effort required, and when he thought he would be available for repairs. Mario and Mike took down a very old brick fence, perhaps from 1947, which was leaning over the footpath, cleaned the heritage bricks, and used them to build a new fence. Mario went to three brickyards to find extra bricks to match the originals, and the fence looks as if it has always been there. They were cheerful, professional and cleaned up perfectly when they had finished.
