The Vertical Lift recliner has been designed to assist with a range of high care needs. The chair lifts vertically to better assist with getting out of the chair, and into a standing position. The showood arms offer further support, allowing you to hold onto the armrests while getting in and out of the chair.
I have muscular dystrophy, and the vertical lift chair has enabled me to be included in family activities and enjoy relaxation time that otherwise was impossible. In 1981 Leo and his son Anthony made the move into furniture manufacturing under the name of 'Oscar Furniture' which produced high quality lounge suites for the Australian domestic market. With Anthony in the director's role, the father and son ran the business together for 25 years before Leo settled into retirement.

As products are manufactured in house at our Horsham facility, a wide range of modifications are available to be made to our furniture. We love a challenge and new combinations of modifications are always made, meaning products can become more and more personalised to each individuals' needs.
